I had bid on the Johnson/Bowe red shell rs500 model on ebay a while back, that went for stupid money too iirc around £220 :o

... section.If your exhaust is tucked but your too low the middle/floor of the car catches humps if u go fast. Also if your car squats hard then the back box hits the ground. If your too low on these uk roads your drive is very restricted thus spioling the driving experience. Hope this helps.

... spot on only real issue i've had to deal with was my cambelt going, but after beinf off the road for 4 months, head was rebuilt and she was put back together redy for Ford Fair, i think it was my tensioner that caused my belt to slip and strip the teeth off the belt :shock: other issue - clutch ...

... rev it to 5k then rip the clutch up as it wont last long :lol: where are you from mate...wat would you be lookin 4 4 the engine mounts..and comin back 2 the driveshafts did you use 2.8 or 2.9 ones..the other problem i have is the speedo the needle is all over the place its not smooth if you get ...

... time i decided to get out from my old garage but know where was paying what i needed, so decided to take some time away from mechanics, might go back one day, would really like to start up on my own

I was going to get a skyline but ended up with a 4x4 cosworth when i was 24 . Glad i didnt go to the darkside there may have been no turning back . Ive always had ford fiestas and the mrs wanted something to fit a pram in the boot so a saph it was .

Tbh the only place I used to go was National day and that was when I didnt own an RS.I was always scroungeing lifts with one of my mates.I think that put me off to see so many (men down) in laybys there and back,or to find half your car missing after the event :evil:

... very cheap as a fixer upper replaced the turbo rebuilt the head with new seals, tappets etc all the boost hoses were split so replaced them got it back on the road and used it every day for a week then the timeing belt tensioner gave up, bent all 16 valves so is off the road for another head rebuild ...
